This is important information that is worth your time and effort if you are involved in certification selection or planning.
It would be a good practice for IT companies around the world to inform candidates in advance if any certification exams are going to be removed from the program. It would help IT professionals to organize their time better and avoid upsetting situations.
Microsoft updates and adds exams as technology changes. Or retires older exams. Candidates must give at least six months notice prior to their retirement in order to allow them to complete their it certification.
It is important to remember that even though an exam is no longer part of a certification, it is still valid. The exam record of any exam you have passed remains on your transcript even if the exam is no longer being offered. If you are working towards a certification that includes one or more of the exams listed for retirement please ensure that you take the exam before the retirement date. If you require a resitting of an exam, allow time.
